The Mouse with the Question Mark Tail

Author: Richard Peck

Genre: Adventure, animal fantasy

What it's about: The mouse with the question mark tail has no name. He is teased by his peers and is a runt. But when a horse from the stables picks him up from the stables, he is in for a wild ride. Find out what happens next and read the book.

What do you think about it?  I liked the idea, but the author didn't do quite a good job at expressing it.

What it's about: This book is about twelve 12-year-olds who win an essay contest and get invited to an opening night lock-in at the new public library in Alexandriaville, Ohio. They go there expecting what you would normally expect from a library: books. But they find much MUCH more...At the end of the lock-in, they want to go home. Instead, they become pawns in the greatest game ever invented - ESCAPE FROM MR LEMONCELLO'S LIBRARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you think about it? I really liked this book! It is exciting and suspenseful, with a touch of humor thrown in to boot. It is futuristic, and I think that made it super duper cool! It is funny if you like kinda jokester humor, which I do. I really like this book and I think you will too!!!!!

Who would like this book? I think kids in grades 4-6 with a sense of humor would like it.Younger readers would not understand some of the themes in this book so I do not recommend it for them.
