I Am Malala
Author: Malala Yousafzai
Genre: Autobiography
What is this book about: This book is the true story of a girl named Malala, written in her perspective. In her autobiography, she tells about growing up in Pakistan, and how the Taliban influenced everyone around her. She tells of family traditions, how she and her father speak out for girls' education, and much more. To find out the rest, you'll have to read the book.
Your opinion: I LOVED this book. I loved how Malala was not afraid to tell about her faults, and even made jokes about them! She was honest, and included a lot of details. AWESOME BOOK!!!:)
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Who would like this book: I think this book is for 4th/5th grade and up. There is violence, and some worldly topics it would be better for 3rd graders and under not to be reading about.
